Experience
Vakhtang Tsabadze joined Grant Thornton in 2016, having over 15 years of experience in audit and accounting with strong technical expertise. He has lead audit and assurance engagements for private and state-owned enterprises of all size, including banks, insurance companies, mining and energy sector, agriculture, food and beverage, retail, municipal services companies, as well as international and local organizations, implementing projects funded by the World Bank, EBRD, Millennium Challenge Corporation, the European Union and others. Vakhtang is a member of Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors, currently serving on the Standards Committee. His has experience in working in different countries of the Eastern Europe and the CIS.

Expertise covers
Vakhtang has over 15 years of experience in audit and accounting, and has strong technical expertise in International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as US Government Auditing Standards (US GAGAS) and Audit Guidelines of the USAID.
Serving on top managerial positions throughout his professional career, he has lead audit and assurance engagements for private and state-owned enterprises of all size, including banks, insurance companies, mining and energy sector, agriculture, food and beverage, retail, municipal services companies.
Vakhtang has led engagements for international and local organizations, implementing projects funded by the World Bank, EBRD, Millennium Challenge Corporation, the European Union, the Austrian Development Agency, the United States Agency for International Development and other international financial institutions and development agencies. He has worked on corporate development and institutional building support projects for a number of large state-owned utilities and infrastructure companies.
Qualifications
Vakhtang has graduated from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and holds ACCA’s Certificates in International Auditing (CertIA) and International Financial Reporting (CertIFR).
